In the movie "A Very Little " directed by Mario Monicelli of 1977, based on novel by Vincenzo Cerami, published in 1976, Alberto Sordi John plays Vivaldi, a modest clerk, to the verge of retirement, in a public office in the capital. His life is divided between work and family. He and his wife share high expectations for his son Mario, newly graduated accountant, a very bright boy who willingly assist in the efforts which the father makes to use it in the same Ministry.
